What Axis provides.
Psychiatric evaluation
A full diagnostic assessment — symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, medications tried before, and what you want from treatment.
Medication management
Ongoing prescribing, adjustment and monitoring, with regular follow-up. Controlled medications when the diagnosis supports it and the evaluation is complete.
Psychotherapy
Individual therapy, available alongside medication or entirely on its own. Approaches include ACT, CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic work.

A lot of people who come to me have already been treated somewhere else. Often they were given a diagnosis in fifteen minutes and spent the next few years on medication aimed at the wrong thing.
That’s why I built Axis around the evaluation. Your first appointment is the whole assessment, not a screening — your history, what you’ve already tried, what helped and what didn’t, and what you actually want out of treatment. Getting that part right is most of the work.
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in California, currently completing my Doctor of Nursing Practice. I see adolescents and adults by telehealth, anywhere in the state.
I offer both medication management and therapy. Which one leads depends on what you’re dealing with and what you want treatment to do. Some people work with me on therapy alone.
